What is an exchange?
⌲ An event where creators can create and receive a gift work from another creator. Pairings of the gift exchange will be curated by the moderators accordingly with your preferences that you placed in the sign-up sheet so that participants can receive and create a gift that is to their liking.
How long will the creation process last?
⌲ You will be given 3 months to create your gift and we will be having monthly check-ins. This is just to make sure that no one is making their gift last minute.
What’s the rating for the event?
⌲ This is primarily an SFW event but we allow 18+ people to create and receive NSFW gifts.
What are the requirements to join?
⌲ Participants should be at least 13 years old to sign up for the event. Other than that, we don’t have any other requirements but we ask that participants will be active during the creation process and especially during the checking-in period.
What is the max number of participants?
⌲ There is no limit to how many people can participate. After all, we believe that the more the merrier!
Can we choose to create or receive 18+ works?
⌲ Yes. As long as you are 18 and above, you will be given the option of whether or not you would like to work on an NSFW piece as well as receive one.
Will I be able to drop out of the event?
⌲ Yes, you can. We understand that people have a life outside of the fandom. Feel free to approach any of our mods if you decide you want to drop out. But for the sake of the event, everyone should make sure that they can be active until the end of the creation period before signing up.
guidelines
General:
1. Participants should be at least 13 years old to sign up.
2. Having a Discord account is a must since it will be our primary mode of communication.
3. Participants are, as much as possible, encouraged to adhere to the preferences of the person they’re creating a gift for. You are also asked to be sensitive to any content that can be triggering to the recipient.
4. Until the gift reveal period, please refrain from posting anything about your work (especially on the Discord server) so that it can stay a surprise.
5. For the anonymous posting of gifts, participants (both writers and artists) are asked to make use of the Archive of our Own website and add it to the collection we will be making.
6. Once the gift reveal period starts, use the hashtag #tkkgexchange2021 and tag us @tskkgexchange so we can retweet your works!
7. If you decide you want to drop out, please contact a mod immediately so that we can reassign the person in charge of your gift and the one who’ll be receiving your gift.
8. For artists: the minimum requirement of the gift is a colored artwork. Background is optional. Artists can also choose to do a comic-style artwork if they want.
For writers: the minimum requirement of the gift is a written piece in English with a 2000 word count.
9. After all emails regarding your assignments have been sent out participants will be given a grace period in which they can have the option to have a ‘gift switch’ if ever they are uncomfortable with the one they had received.
Betas:
1. You will be allowed to beta more than one work if you wish to do so.
2. You are allowed to apply for multiple roles (ex: writer and beta) and to refrain from spoiling the surprise, the mods will be the ones to help writers get in contact with you betas.
Nsfw:
1. Participants should be at least 18 years old to sign up
2. All NSFW works should have the characters (tsukikage) in aged up form.
3. Make sure to tag your works properly!
4. For artists: we would prefer it if you would use privatter (or something similar) when posting your works. So you would be posting a censored version with a link to the full version to refrain minors from seeing the full NSFW version.
5. Once the reveal of creators happens pls do use the separate hashtag we have for the nsfw portion of this event which is #nsfwtkkgexchange2021 and do tag us as well at @tskkgexchange
